Tom Caron
Tom Caron is an American sportscaster and television host known for his long tenure at the New England Sports Network (NESN), where he serves as a studio host and play-by-play announcer for Boston Red Sox and Bruins coverage.[1][2]
Born and raised in Lewiston, Maine, Caron graduated from Saint Michael's College and began his career as a sports reporter covering minor league baseball before transitioning to on-air roles.[3][4]
Joining NESN in 1995, he has hosted pre- and post-game shows for the Red Sox for more than two decades and contributed to Bruins broadcasts, including play-by-play for hockey and other sports.[1][2][4]
A 12-time Emmy Award winner, Caron has been recognized for his contributions to sports broadcasting in New England.[5]
Beyond broadcasting, he co-chairs the Jimmy Fund, a charity supporting cancer research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, and is an investor and co-owner in the Portland Hearts of Pine, a USL League One soccer club.[5][2]
