Michael Devoe was born on December 17, 1999, in Orlando, Florida.[1] Devoe grew up in a family with a strong athletic background, which influenced his early interest in sports. His grandfather and father both played high school sports, while his uncle, Jason McGriff, competed in college basketball at the University of South Alabama and professionally in Europe. Devoe began playing basketball at the age of three in a local YMCA league, marking the start of his lifelong involvement with the sport.
