SnapLogic is an American software company specializing in integration platform as a service (iPaaS) solutions, offering an AI-powered platform that enables enterprises to connect applications, data sources, APIs, and AI systems for automated workflows and data management.[1][2] Founded on July 13, 2006, by Gaurav Dhillon and Mike Pittaro, with Dhillon being the co-founder and former CEO of Informatica, the company is headquartered in San Mateo, California, and focuses on self-service integration tools that accelerate digital transformation for global enterprises.[3][4][5] SnapLogic's flagship product, the Intelligent Integration Platform (IIP), supports hybrid cloud environments by providing pre-built connectors, low-code design, and AI agents for tasks like data orchestration and process automation, serving over 2,500 subscribers primarily from Global 2000 organizations.[6][7] Under Dhillon's initial leadership as CEO, the company raised venture funding from investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Microsoft, achieving significant growth; in August 2025, Dhillon transitioned to Chairman upon retiring as CEO, with Brad Stewart appointed as the new CEO amid record results including over $100 million in annual recurring revenue.[5][8] The platform has earned recognition for innovation, including the 2023 InfoWorld Technology of the Year award, the 2023 Aragon Research Innovator Award, and a leadership position in the G2 Spring 2025 Grid Report for iPaaS.[9]Overview
Founding and Leadership
SnapLogic was founded in 2006 by Gaurav Dhillon, a veteran of the data integration industry who co-founded Informatica in 1993 and served as its CEO for 12 years, growing it into a global leader in enterprise data management before stepping away in 2004.[10][11][12] Dhillon's vision for SnapLogic stemmed from his experiences at Informatica, where he identified the need for simpler, low-code platforms to address complex enterprise integration challenges in an increasingly cloud-based world, aiming to democratize data connectivity without heavy reliance on custom coding.[13][14] As founder, Dhillon initially served as CEO and later Chairman, steering the company toward innovative integration solutions inspired by evolving enterprise demands.[15] In August 2025, Dhillon retired from his role as CEO to focus on his position as Chairman, marking a leadership transition amid the company's record growth.[8] Brad Stewart was appointed as the new CEO, bringing extensive experience in scaling high-growth technology and services businesses in the enterprise software sector, including prior roles as CEO and executive chair at multiple tech firms.[16][17] This change positions SnapLogic to accelerate its trajectory in agentic and AI-driven integration under Stewart's guidance.[15] The current executive team supports this vision through specialized roles across finance, technology, product, marketing, sales, human resources, and customer success:- Ahsan Malik, Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financial strategy and operations.[9]
