Financial and Community Support Programs

M Health Fairview maintains a comprehensive financial assistance program, including charity care, designed to support uninsured and low-income patients by providing free or discounted care based on household income and assets. Eligibility for full charity care requires income at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level (FPL), with discounted care available up to 400% of FPL and assets not exceeding $100,000; the program applies to United States residents, including undocumented immigrants, who have applied for other available insurance. No patient is denied access to emergency or medically necessary care based on their ability to pay, ensuring equitable treatment across facilities.
