Pippa Middleton
Philippa Charlotte Middleton (born 6 September 1983) is an English socialite and author, recognized primarily as the younger sister of Catherine, Princess of Wales.[1][2]
Born in Reading, Berkshire, to self-made millionaires Carole and Michael Middleton, she grew up alongside siblings Catherine and James in a family business centered on party supplies.[1][2]
Middleton attended Marlborough College and graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a degree in English literature before joining her family's firm, where she contributed to event planning and marketing efforts.[2][3]
She gained widespread public notice in 2011 as maid of honour at her sister's wedding to Prince William, with her fitted white dress sparking commentary on personal style and family dynamics.[1]
In 2012, Middleton published Celebrate: A Year of Festivities for Families and Friends, a guide offering practical advice on hosting seasonal events, drawing from her professional background in celebrations.[4]
She later contributed columns on fitness and lifestyle to publications and supported charities focused on children's welfare and competitive sports, including rowing.[2]
Middleton married James Matthews, a former racing driver and hedge fund executive, on 20 May 2017; the couple resides in Berkshire with their three children—Arthur (born 2018), Grace (born 2021), and Rose (born 2022).[5][6]
