He secured his sole major championship at the 2017 Masters Tournament, defeating Justin Rose in a sudden-death playoff after both finished at nine-under-par, marking his 74th major start.[3][4]
García has recorded 11 victories on the PGA Tour, including the 2001 MasterCard Colonial and the 2020 Sanderson Farms Championship, alongside 16 wins on the European Tour.[1][5]

In 2022, García joined LIV Golf, where he captains Fireballs GC and has won individual events, including the 2025 Hong Kong tournament.[8][9]
