A native of Palakkad district in Kerala, Parambil holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Calicut and entered politics through student activism with the Kerala Students' Union, where he served as state president from 2003 to 2004.[1]
He was elected to the Kerala Legislative Assembly from the Palakkad constituency in 2011, 2016, and 2021, representing the United Democratic Front alliance.[2][1] In 2017, he was appointed general secretary of the Indian Youth Congress, marking his elevation in national party structures.[3]
Parambil's career has been characterized by competitive electoral successes in a politically polarized state, including a narrow victory in Palakkad in 2021 by 789 votes, though it has also involved clashes with opponents, such as protests and allegations during campaigns.[2][4]
