Simon Pryce
Simon Pryce (born 7 March 1972) is an Australian singer, actor, and children's entertainer best known for his role as the Red Wiggle in the popular children's music group The Wiggles.[1][2]Pryce joined the Wiggles organization in 2002 as a backing vocalist and voice artist for their recordings, later performing as Ringo the Ringmaster in live shows from 2009 to 2012.[3] In 2013, he became a core member of the group, succeeding Murray Cook as the Red Wiggle and contributing to their albums, television series such as Ready, Steady, Wiggle!, and worldwide tours that promote early childhood education through music and movement.[4][5] Beyond performing, Pryce has appeared in other children's media, including the show The Kingdom of Paramithi, and co-hosts the podcast Wiggle Talk with fellow Wiggle Lachy Gillespie, where they discuss parenting experiences as fathers.[1][6] He is married to fitness entrepreneur Lauren Hannaford, with whom he shares a son named Asher, and the family resides in Sydney's eastern suburbs.[3]
