Knott's Scary Farm
Knott's Scary Farm is an annual Halloween event held at Knott's Berry Farm amusement park in Buena Park, California, debuting in 1973 as a three-day Halloween Haunt and evolving into the longest-running theme park Halloween event.[1]
The event transforms the 160-acre park into a horror spectacle featuring over 1,000 roaming monsters, multiple haunted mazes, scare zones, and live entertainment shows, operating on select nights from late September through early November.[2][1]
Over five decades, it has attracted millions of visitors, pioneering immersive fright experiences that include innovative mazes and zones, such as the reimagined Gauntlet scare zone, while maintaining a reputation for intense, adult-oriented scares not recommended for children under 13.[1][2]
