Meridian Centre
The Meridian Centre is a multi-purpose arena in downtown St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada.[1]
Opened in October 2014 at a construction cost of $50 million, the facility features a seating capacity of 5,300 for ice hockey and similar configurations.[2][3][4]
It primarily serves as the home venue for the Niagara IceDogs of the Ontario Hockey League and the Niagara River Lions of the Canadian Elite Basketball League.[5][1]
The arena also hosts concerts, community events, and other sporting competitions, contributing to local economic revitalization through increased downtown activity.[3]
